Misson Statement
WE EXIST TO GIVE HOPE TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN POVERTY STRICKEN COUNTRIES BY PROVIDING BASIC NECESSITIES AND THE TOOLS NEEDED FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE.
MEET THE FOUNDER
I’ve always felt drawn to Africa. Even when I was young, I carried a deep, unshakable desire to make a difference. I spent years traveling and working with non profit organizations, I learned invaluable lessons from each experience. I had been working in Ethiopia, educating on human trafficking in the rural villages when a friend asked if I could help provide breakfast to children in his town. They were crying, fainting and failing in class due to hunger.
In 2015, at just 22 years old, I started The Breakfast Club . We began by serving 36 children milk and bread each morning before school, and we watched their energy, focus, and joy return.
We now support over 100 families in a variety of ways, all rooted in one mission: nourishing the mind, body, and soul.
Ethiopia holds a special place in my heart, and so does this community we’ve built together. I believe in long-term, sustainable solutions for the children and their families—solutions that create space to dream and the freedom to hope.
