A $35 monthly sponsorship provides far more than basic necessities. It gives a child consistent support, stability, and a place where they can learn, grow, and feel cared for.
Each sponsored child receives:
Two nutritious meals every day
Medical expenses covered when needed
School-related expenses and educational support
New clothing and shoes twice a year
A safe, supportive environment to learn and grow
Individual attention and care from our staff
Support focused on emotional wellbeing, counseling, and mindfulness
Connection and support for their parents and family
Our staff knows the children personally and works to build meaningful relationships with both the children and their parents. We believe supporting a child means caring for the whole person—their body, mind, and future.
Your $35 sponsorship helps create a consistent foundation where a child can be nourished, supported, encouraged, and given the opportunity to thrive.

Yes! Sponsors can build a meaningful connection with their sponsored child through letters. We encourage this personal connection as a wonderful way for children and sponsors to get to know one another and share encouragement.
We do not accept individual gifts or packages for sponsored children. This policy helps us create a fair and inclusive environment where children are not treated differently based on whether their sponsor is able to send additional gifts. It also allows us to support the local economy by purchasing needed goods and resources within the community, rather than encouraging the shipment and consumption of unnecessary products.
Our goal is to make sponsorship about connection, consistency, and opportunity—not material possessions. By keeping gifts out of individual sponsorships, we can ensure that every child is supported equitably while making thoughtful choices that are better for the local community and environment.

We hope to resume opportunities for sponsors to visit Ethiopia in the future. However, we are not currently leading sponsor trips due to the ongoing security situation and conflict in parts of Ethiopia.
The safety of our children, families, staff, and sponsors is always our first priority. When we are able to safely resume trips, we will share opportunities with our sponsor community.
In the meantime, sponsors can connect with their sponsored child through letters and follow along with updates from The Breakfast Club Kids.

We partner with local government and community representatives to identify children and families facing the greatest need. While many people in our community experience poverty, our programs are designed to prioritize children and families experiencing particularly difficult or urgent circumstances.
We consider each child's individual situation when determining eligibility, with a focus on those who are most vulnerable and in need of additional support. This approach helps us direct our resources to children who need them most while working alongside local leaders who understand the needs of the community.
