It is estimated that 600,000 children are living on the street in Ethiopia.

The New Life boys home provides full time love & care to boys who were once orphaned or abandoned living on the street.

New Life Boys Home provides a safe, stable, and nurturing home for boys who have been orphaned, abandoned, or experienced life on the streets. More than a place to live, New Life is a place where boys can heal, feel a sense of belonging, and begin to imagine a different future. Through nutritious meals, education, healthcare, mentorship, and daily care from a dedicated team, we support each boy as he grows physically, emotionally, and academically. Our goal is to give these boys the stability, love, and opportunities they need to move beyond survival and build independent, fulfilling lives.

    Each boy adopted in is treated as FAMILY.

    Not only welcomed by our staff but by each other, they form a bond of brotherhood that lasts a lifetime.

    Facilitated by our full time live-in staff, the boys receive the love and care they deserve each and every day.

  • Either orphaned or abandoned, kid’s living on the street are always under-nourished and often addicted to alcohol / drugs.

    Alongside healthy meals and medical care, we also provide counseling to aid in mental health and addiction support.

  • Education is a priority at BCK.

    Each boy is enrolled in school and is provided all of the necessary materials (ie. books, uniforms, pens/pencils, backpacks, etc.) for a successful school year.

    When the school day is done we provide in house tutoring and life lessons to help expand opportunities in their future.

  • Our commitment to the boys doesn't end when they graduate. As they become young adults, we work alongside each boy to prepare him for a safe and independent future. We help them develop practical life skills, pursue education or vocational training, and prepare for employment. When they are ready to transition out of New Life Boys Home, we provide support with securing safe housing, finding employment, and navigating the responsibilities of living independently. Our goal is not simply to provide a home for today, but to give each young man the skills, confidence, and foundation he needs to build a stable and fulfilling life of his own.
